Q. how do i schedule my interview?

A. All that is required is a phone call (714) 745 - 2609 or an email: hello@mechronicled.com. We will schedule your interview as soon as possible.

Q. where will the interview take place?

A. Locations vary, but we try to arrange locations close to where you live.

Q. who will be at the interview? will there be other people being interviewed on the same day?

A. We try to schedule several interviews on the same day. The number of people at the interview varies, but at a minimum, there will be a videographer, a life illustrator (someone asking questions) and an editor.

Q. HOw do i gather and upload photos?

A. The more photos, the more meaningful your film. We require a minimum of 50 photos (and video if available) from various ages. The photos can be with you by yourself or with family - they should just have some meaning to you. We will give you a Google Drive link where you will upload and identify the photos (name, date, who is in photo). All photos must be uploaded before the interview date.

Q. will i be nervous during interview?

A. Most people are nervous for the first few minutes. We promise we are nice people!! and mostly just curious about you. Within minutes, you will forget you’re on camera.

Q. how long will it take to get my FINAL film?

A. Perfection takes time! We estimate a 4-6 week turn-around.

Q. how do i know i will like my film?

A. Part of the interview includes a “look” at your film - before we officially get started. This will let you have a peak at our work so you can make sure all is in order. Beyond that, you’ll have to trust that we have the expertise to make you look your best!

Q. What TYPES of questions do you ask?

A. Take a look at our sample reel to get an idea of some of our more basic questions. We don’t like to provide all of the questions ahead of time since capturing authenticity is our number one goal. We will provide you with 3 questions ahead of time for you to think about. Also, we leave you the opportunity to talk about whatever is most important to you.

Q. What do i wear and bring on interview day?

A. Our only request is that you wear solid colors. You should dress nice, but comfortable.
